James Goalen, Writer / Creative Director, completed his degree in
Telecommunications & Film from California State University, San
Diego. His production experience included work for television station
KPBS, radio station KCR, local theater, and several dramatic short and
documentary films. After graduation, Mr. Goalen began his career in
corporate communications. For ten years he developed his craft for
communicating diverse subject matter using state of the art media
formats.
In 1983, Mr. Goalen was promoted to Creative Director
of one of the largest production companies in Los Angeles. He began to
design and direct large-scale events for clients such as Mazda Motors,
Nissan Motors, Honda Motorcycle, Yamaha Motorcycle and Pioneer
Electronics.
Today, with over twenty-five years of experience
in corporate communications, Mr. Goalen is considered at the top of his
profession working with C.E.O.s & Presidents of major corporations,
as well as producers & directors of major feature films and
television shows. As President and Creative Director of Goalen Group
Media, he designs and produces complete marketing communications
programs that encompass live shows, video & film production, and
interactive presentations. A diverse clientele over the years include
Warner Bros. Studios, W. B. Television, W. B. Publishing, W. B.
Interactive, W. B. Consumer Products; Steven Spielberg’s Amblin
Entertainment; Universal Pictures; Universal Home Video; Paramount
Pictures; Viacom Consumer Products; Geffen Records; CBS; MTV; Hyundai
America; Honda; Visa International; Epson America; Amgen; NASA;
Northrop Grumman and more.
Mr. Goalen has directed films &
video, as well as designed & staged live presentations all over the
United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia. Currently, Jim is
working with The Boeing Company on numerous life events and video
projects. He can consult on creative development or can write and
direct an entire production through Goalen Group Media. His specialty
is new media technology, green media production and interactive
meetings.
