Share Our Strength's mission is to end childhood hunger in America in the next ten years. Top chiefs from around the city gather once a year to celebrate good food and people to raise money for organizations in Los Angeles. Nearly 100% of the proceeds go to ending hunger.

PATH is an organization that helps people get off the street and back into productive lives. Their motto is "A hand up, not a hand out" Their approach of providing a home, food, job center, grooming and life skills is a model program in our city. A city of nearly 100,000 homeless people.
